JANUARY 2021 CLAY TARGET NATION 21 LORI BAUCHMAN NSCA DATA ENTRY CLUB SERVICES Do you have a question about a shoot that has been processed Is your score missing from an event Do your punches look like theyre not right Are you a club needing a shoot number for an upcoming event These are just a small sample of the questions that Lori can answer for you When an NSCA shoot comes into headquarters from a club she is the lady who processes it This means that she has seen and has all the information from the received data file to the details in your membership record of each event Email Lori at lbauchman@ nssa nsca com GLYNNE MOSELEY USA SPORTING CLAYS TEAM MANAGER SPECIAL PROJECTS Over the last few years Glynne has taken on the responsibility of managing the USASCT which includes the team selection and contract process each year helping with travel arrangements and assisting in fundraising The team heavily relies on her each year as the information hub for the events they attend Something you may find interesting is that Glynne is also working with several people to develop a thorough history of sporting clays to be published in the future Additionally she works with the NSCA and FITASC referee certifications so if you are looking at becoming one she can help get you started Shoot Glynne an email at gmoseley@ nssa nsca com AMBER SCHWARZ MEMBER CLUB SERVICES DIRECTOR Amber is one of the NSSA NSCAs longest tenured employees and has worked in all aspects of customer service here at LEFTY RAY CHAPA We go to great lengths to procure photos for this magazine and for other NSSA NSCA uses and finding photographers who are talented enough to take great photos while remaining safe and not getting in shooters way during an event is not an easy challenge Thats why we were thrilled to bump into Raymond Lefty Ray Chapa at a chance SHOT Show meeting in Las Vegas As it turns out Lefty is based in San Antonio and lives just a few miles from the National Shooting Complex Hes a professional freelance outdoor photographer and writer and youve seen his work in CTN during the past year as hes photographed skeet and sporting clays events for the association Lefty photographs anything having to do with a fly rod or a shotgun His work has appeared in American Waterfowler magazine Southwest Fly Fishing magazine Texas Parks Wildlife magazine Texas Highways magazine the San Antonio Express News newspaper and many more He currently authors the Leftys Blind Bag column in American Waterfowler magazine He has won numerous national awards in photography from the Outdoor Writers Association of America OWAA and numerous regional awards from the Texas Outdoor Writers Association TOWA His favorite award winning photo is the silhouette of his wife and grandson against the sunrise that appeared in a recent Kent Cartridge catalog centerfold Lefty Ray is also the credited photographer on two Grammy winning albums and more than a dozen Grammy and Latin Grammy nominated albums In the music industry he is known as the guy who fell off a speaker in Las Vegas while on assignment during the Tex Mex Fest Tour If you follow social media you might have seen his images on Instagram or Facebook for companies like Kent Cartridge Franchi Fiocchi Benelli Syren Hevi Shot Drake Waterfowl Shimano G Loomis and others His nickname Lefty Ray came from his high school golf team days in north Texas because he is a left handed golfer His golf coach would tell the other coaches My team may not be able to beat your team but they can out gamble out fight and out drink any other team in Texas and it was true When not shooting with a camera he is casting a fly to tailing redfish on the nearby Texas coast during the summer or knocking down ducks with a shotgun during the winter His motto during waterfowl season is No duck blind is too far too crowded or too cold You can find Lefty on Instagram as @ lefty ray chapa on Facebook as Lefty Ray on Twitter as @ LeftyRay or via email at leftyray@ leftyray com headquarters For Amber taking on the role of overseeing both the NSSA and NSCA club and membership services was a natural transition last year Her knowledge of past events and procedures combined with always leading the teams in learning and developing new processes makes her knowledge and experience invaluable If you have any questions or concerns that cant be answered by our membership secretaries reach out to Amber at aschwarz@ nssa nsca com
